Right now, the Rat Pack are in Bournemouth, UK, on the last week of their tour before the summer break. This was celebrated by a visit to the Brass House; a bar near the theatre, where they not only had drink specials but Karaoke too!!! Many photos and videos of drunken frivolity will follow; watch this space!!!

Tour Date Updates

I’ve finally got around to updating the Tour Date Calendars - the UK calendar now shows the dates for the regular touring show and the Christmas tour up to the end opf 2007. The US dates up to March 2008 have also been posted.
In actual fact the show splits into 4 incarnations over Christmas with additional shows in Germany and Scandinavia. I’ll get this dates updated in the coming days - just trying to figure out the most concise way of doing it! More shortly…

The other day I found out about a competition being run by Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band; the Big Phat Jam.

It’s been going on for the last 7 weeks or so and is now in the last (8th) week. Participants are encouraged to recorded themselves soloing to various backing tracks taken from the most recent Big Phat Band CD - “The Phat Pack”. I recorded an entry of my own this afternoon and submitted it this evening.

Tour Dates Updated (again)

I’ve finally got around to updating the Tour Dates for 2007, both for the UK and US Tours. To keep things simple, I’ve created 2 Google Calendars for the respective tours which are embedded in the new Tour Dates pages. That will (hopefully) mean that I’ll remember to keep things updated since I can simply export to these calendars when I update my own iCal!

There are 3 ways to view each of the calendars; HTML webpage, iCal format or XML for those with feedreaders. The links are as follows:

First Europe, Then The World!!!

The European Tour of The Rat Pack - Live From Las Vegas has now come to an end, at least for the time being. We’re still on the road though! The West End cast and a couple of us lowly musicians are currently touring the USA with the renamed Rat Pack - Live At The Sands. We’ll be splitting our time between the USA and UK until May 2007. Tour dates etc will be updated shortly and then the (occasional) fun & frolics will continue in earnest!!
