We somehow managed to allow a significant Rat Pack birthday to pass without mention.
Ronnie Mackie; our beloved Baritone saxophonist and UTM, turned 75 years old back in August. He’s still on the road and showing us youngsters how to do it!!!

Ronnie is pictured with the spoils of a quiet, pre-birthday celebration in Hamburg. Well, everybody needs a hobby…

Last night we bade a fond farewell to Chris Greive; 1st Trombone with the tour since way back when.
We wish the very best for his life of freedom from The Pack and hope to see him again soon. He will be missed…

You’ll be pleased to know that Chris Mann, our Frank Sinatra from time to time, has a new website; TheSoundOfSinatra.com.

Yes, this a blatant plug for one of my sites, but hey, he’s a friend of ours! Check it out and let me know what you think.

While checking out the showtimes for Blackpool this week, I came across this page about the show on Ents24.com.

And I quote:

Michael Neilsen - An innovative musician, and one of the leading guitarists in European jazz.

The extent of his crimes are more far-reaching than I imagined.
